I have a 1996 328is and my check engine light came on last week. I took it up to autozone and their OBDII computer said that the camshaft position sensor caused the problem. Have any of you guys had this problem ? I checked it out with my Peake diagnostic tool and it indicated bad oxygen sensor after the cat convertor and misfire on cyl #3. I replaced the oxygen sensor on the passenger side after the cat but I may have replaced the wrong one because there are two after the cat. Which side of the engine is cyl 1-3 ?? I would appreciate any help you guys can give me.
