Odd light on dash

There is a light on my dash that came on recently, since I have lost my book like a genius, I have no idea what it is. it is shapped like a circle with 3 dots on each side. I will try to draw it

that is a terrible drawing.. it is on a 94 318. three to the left of the abs light.



Also, I am in need of advice on how to get my radio out, the little screws are driving me crazy.

I realize these are dumb questions, but I am a first timer who went against what everyone told me, and decided to by a BMW anyway. Someone help a kid in need

First: the radio screws are most likley torgue head screws. Requires a torgue screw driver.
As for the warning light, check with autozone, o'riellies, PepBoys for a manual for you particular model/year.

I belive what you are describing is the Brake lining Wear Indicator [???1] Comes on when the starter turns over the engine and goes out after engine has started. If the lamp remains on have the brakes pads inspected without delay. Check front brakes.
