Oil Change

I had an appoitment with the dealer to get an oil change today at 1:00 PM. I came back at 2:30 and they hadn't started . Is there anything more to this than unscrewing the oil pan bolt, drainging the oil, changing the filter, replacing the oil pan bolt, filling with synthetic oil , and reinitializing the oil lights?
Tired of spending half-a-day and $100-$150 for an oil change.

That's all it takes..it's easy. For a DIY figure about $30 for synthetic oil and $7 for the filter, give or take a buck.

Thanks, what I thought- I can pull that off in 20 minutes. Next purchase is a pair of ramps (no way I can get under it without that) and the tool for the lights. But, what's recommended 0W-40 or 5W-40? It's a 2.8L . It's in the yellow so I'll be doing it soon.

Personally, I would go with 5W-40, since you don't get temperatures below 20 - 30 degrees in your area very often.
