Paint Job?

Wondering if anyone had given their loving bimmer a new paint job. Which service/company did you use? What kind of paint job? How much did it cost? I certainly don't want to spend more money than the car is worth. Any recommendations? Thanks.

You do not mention what kind of car your talking about. I had my 79 Chevrolet pickup painted, complete job even inside the bed. This was five years ago, a professional job with me providing all the paint and supplies and having a professional strip, sand and paint the truck. Total it still cost me over $2500.00 and today I would suspect a professional paint job would be in the neighborhood of $5000.00!

Wow! Big Daddy! I have a black 1993 BMW 318i. I think the car's worth about as much as a paint job. That's too bad. I thought maybe $300-$400 would do it, but I guess not. She'll just have to look a little old and drabby for the next 3 or 4 years...

I got a price to do the front clip on my 92...no dings, just chips..(a lot of them)...1300.00 canadian$$..about a thousand US$. The shop is very good. They did a buddies Olds that he restored, and it was a terrific job. They quoted me about 3K$ for the whole car...again, just sanding..no dings to remove..Canadian$$$..

You can find deals out there, but keep in mind unless they discount their labor, they are using cheaper parts (paint, etc.) I am sure you can get a "good" paint job for $2000.00 if you look hard enough. You might even see about doing some of the labor yourself.
