I don´t know if some of you remember my engine hesitation at low RPM, any way, after three years looking for a solution, today I found the problem and fixed it. The fuel regulator (vaccum driven by the intake manifold) was the problem, now for the very first time I´m feeling the low rpm torque of the M52 with it AA free flow exhaust.

I was about to order the regulator when my mechanic told me that the X5 has the same regulator attached to the fuel filter, so it was a matter of waiting for some X5 to be serviced, and it happened today.

If the new cars have the regulator attached to the filter this means that the regulator isn´t forever, fuel filter replacement, regulator replacement. Think about it. For sure some of you have had the same problem as me. Today I felt like I installed a new engine in my 328

Just to keep you informed and to prevent this happening to you in the future.
