Well, i bought a 95' 325I WITH 98,000 MILES about 3 weeks ago. The radiator neck broke off, and its about time for all the cooling parts to start breaking. So i was going to have all the cooling parts put in at once, which includes radiator ( wich is quick repaired by plastic weld. Risky.) thermostat, thermostat housing, water pump and water pump housing. doing it all at once. so iwas wonderin which radiator. Behr? Nissen? or L&R? any input on anything greatly appreciated.

Yes, typical failure for a 10 year old E36 - ask me how I know ;) .

Replace all of the stuff you mentioned; I got the Behr as Dan mentioned above. You might want to go with a METAL thermostat housing instead of factory plastic, and solve that problem once and for all. I got mine here:

http://www.bimmerworld.com/html/aluminum-thermostat-housing.htm

Also, since the belt is off, two other items that might need replacing:

- serpentine idler wheels - one of mine was "gritty" and would only spin free for a second or so. Replacing that made it noticeably quieter under the hood.

- Belt tensioner assembly - The piston assembly on mine was seized up.

And of course, replace all the hoses, then your cooling system should be good for another 100K.
