RE: Seat Foam Replacment
Somewhat OT but can anyone recommend a good auto interior shop in the Chicago suburbs that can install a new bottom seat foam cushion for my 00 Corvette? My seat is about as flat as a pancake after 50K (could really have used some of that wonderful German firmness in the Vette; the seats really are poorly designed for a $45K+ car) and would really like to get the firmness back to factory levels. Perhaps a body/interior shop where you had a simliar job done for your Bimmer.
Bought the seat cushion online but after spending some time looking trying to remove the seat assembly I gave up (too damn complex) - I know when I am in over my head. I did however manage to install a new back seat cushion and a new back halo, so I am somwhat proud of myself in at least getting two of three jobs done.![[rofl]](/images/smilies/icon_smile_rofl.gif "ROFL [rofl]")
