Real world MPG values 330xi

I am looking to join the BMW family with a 2005 330xi (43K). I am concerned about some of the mpg values I have seen, but find little info in my searches of this board. Would anybody mind throwing out their mpg numbers to give me a feel for this car. I will most likely do more city driving than highway. Thanks in advance.

Do you have a six speed or the auto? Not sure how accurate these are but Fueleconomy.gov lists them as follows:

Six speed- 18 city 27 highway
Auto- 16 city 23 highway

That is what the gov says I am looking for what range owners actually get

I understand that that is why I said "fueleconomy.gov lists them as". You still do not state if you have an auto or manual? I do not own a 330 so I cannot provide any further information than that. My roadster gets just about what the gov. site states, as does my pickup.

I got 19 mpg/city, BTY, I have 2005 325xi.

I drive 100mi a day, mostly highway miles.

I have a 330i ZHP 6sp manual with the 'stock' staggered wheels at 40 psi and using 91 octane gas.

I do drive to conserve fuel for the most part but I do like to feel the power when getting on the freeway/passing/ etc.

My OBC is always on 28.2 for average mpg. I get over 30 mpg on the highway and around 24 or so in the city.

330 xi Mileage

I have a 2002 5 speed manual and drive 50 miles per day, of which 70% is highway. I have tracked my mileage since the day I bought my car, and I always average 27 mpg +/- 1 to 2 mpg. I wish a 6th gear was available when I bought, as I'm turning 3,000 rpm at 70 mph, and mpg would be better with a 6th gear.

for the bmw, i get 21 mpg pretty much regardless whether i shift at 3000 or 6000 rpm. i drive about 80% city and 20% freeway. so, that averages out to about 325+ miles per 16 gallon tank. (i usually fill up before going bone dry, so that's why i rounded up to 21mpg.) oh, i also keep my tires at a snug 37~40 cold, and that helps with mileage considerably.

i have a 99 bmw 323i 6 speed.
