They sell the software to be downloaded from their site, then, with an easy to build interface, you download your DME (engine ECU) firmware, you send this file to MTH-Powerchip, they do the DME map modification, they resend you the moded file, you reprogram your ECU, and VIOLA!. They provide too, a code that makes the software unique to your engine.
Sounds complicated but isn't. And is by far less expensive than Conforti's Shark.
BTW: I have some interface schematics I used in my 328i to see and erase engine faults with an own made software, so if you wana try, let me know.
