removing water pump

on my 318 4cyl.1.8l I removed 4 bolts what hold water pump and can't take water pump out is some trick or just jamked out?????

If the 318 is the same as the 325, there is a rubber O-ring that seals the pump to the block. It is a tight fit, and gets "stuck" over the years. You just need to keep pulling. Wiggling up/down/left/right while pulling will help. A few taps with a block of wood may help to break the seal.

If I am not mistake the water pump has a few taps that you can use bolts to back it off the block. If you don't have that, like I didn't on friday when I changed mine, use that same big ass wrench you used to take off the fan clutch and give it a few love taps and that should free it up.
