I'm looking for somebody who will rent me check engine reset tool for 95 318i sedan I will pay shipping and deposit plus few buck extra.

They are not too expensive, I bought one and as I recall paid about $35.00 for it. Try BavAuto or some of our sponsors in the "Marketplace" section. Another idea is check with the local BMW CCA chapter there where you live (if your a member) and see if someone will loan you one.

I just purchased on ebay for $2.50 instructions on how to trick it out without any fancy tool. It is 7 pages of instructions that are being mailed to me. I will let you know how it works.

probably does the exact same thing that a scrap piece of wire and the simple DIY instructions that are all over the boards will do, and no external power source needed!
