I have a 2001 740iL E38 Chassis - M62 engine. It has about 70,000 miles. Bought it certified pre-owned in January 2004.

Recently replaced rotors and did the rear brakes. New tires and alignment done.

Still get a shimmy when I brake at around 45-55 MPH.

MIDAS tells me that I need new Control arms AND bushings.

Saw the following post on how to change the control arms:

Can I get by with changing just the bushings?
Thanks.

ANS: I found out that the Control Arm bushing was cracked.
