My 2003 X5 4.4 has been having problems with the radio. BMW NA and the dealer recognized the problems (they showed me their emails between them): cutout signal for 10-20 secs; crackling noises; delays in picking up radio station signals; bypassing specific radio station when tuning. Now BMW NA told the dealer to give me one month car payment OR accessory equal to one month payment for my inconvenience while they try to fix the problems. The service manager advised me to take the money not the accessory because he would make money if I take an accessory. Any thoughts?
