SMG - Slight CLUNK down into 1st

Anyone else with SMG get a little "clunk" when droppping to 1st gear (rolling or stopped..but usually when at a stop-light)

Dealer says normal - and if diriving a manual I would expect a little clunk here and there as the linkage moves around...

just want to make sure thats normal on SMG

My 2005 M3 with SMG does the same thing, and has done so since I brought her home in February. The first time I felt it, I called my SA.....and was told that it is 100% normal. It won't do it all the time (some do though), but it is fine. Relax, breathe and hit the frickin' gas pedal

My 2004 does the same thing, so no worries man just drive her and enjoy
