sound system question...

What system would best suit a 1997 328i. I'm looking to upgrade the head unit and speakers. The rear speakers are blown and I wouldn't mind upgrading the sound altogether. Any advice would be greatly apreciated.

lol. i love TRU amps. dido with everything above^. check out my system that i will have in a few months. http://caudiophile.com/bmw
that stuff IS NOT cheap though. but i think their worth every penny. JL subs rarely blow. TRU amps are ultimate hardcore for quality and power. and rainbow speakers are top notch for speakers. there is better than alpine in my opinion for sound qulaity, but that HU is pretty bad ass all together. alpine is very reliable.
