Spark Plugs

I just replaced my spark plugs over the weeked, and 1-2-3 all had oil above the plugs. Having not owned a BMW I don't know if this is serious, normal, or if I have a bad gasket? If anyone knows anything about this please let me know. The car is running fine, I am going to check the plugs again though and see if the same thing happened again.

I answered my own question. Thanks anyway. I need to replace the vlave gasket.

Yes, change that gasket and this is a frequent problem.

I just did my plugs, and found a little oil on two of the plugs...is the gasket a pain in the butt to change yourself?...just curious

Is the oil on the electrode or the case of the plug? I should not have said this is a "frequent" problem, it is a common problem. If the oil is on the case of the plug than the gasket is leaking and should be replaced.
