Spark Plugs

I'm about to replace my valve cover gasket set and spark plug gasket set. I figure that I might as well replace the spark plugs and wires while i'm at it. What kind of spark plugs should I get? Platinum? Splitfire? Any advice would be appreciated.

BMW has its own line of sparkplugs, look into those. rumor is bosch platinum 4's burn to hot.

I just replaced the valve cover gasket and spart plug gasket sets and spark plugs too. I installed the bosch platinum +4s. I plan to check in week or so to see if there is any visible overheating to the plugs. So far so good though. The engine feels very smooth and fast with them in.

Overheating isn't a large concern with spark plugs. They really only need to generate a spark. But I agree with frolf, I'd go with BMW spark plugs because there seriously is no performance increase with a different kind of spark plug, just the lifetime of them.
