Stress Bar

Considering purchasing a stress bar from Bavauto.com....

Anyone who has one, is there an appreciable amount of added stiffness. I have the sport package and was wondering if the difference would be noticable when I take tight turns. Is it worth the couple hundred bucks?

I think that they assist with any car, admitting I drive a roadster of course means that I really like mine!

I added the M3 strut bar two years ago. Maybe minimal added rigidity, if any - it's more eye candy.

I purchased and installed a factory M3 stress bar from Pacific BMW. There is little if any difference with the E46 body unless you drive it very hard such as driving school track time. The E46 body is quite stiff as opposed to the E30 and E36 models. Otherwise like was said earlier it looks nice. It made a more pronounced difference with my E30 325i.
