Temperature Sensor

My digital temperature screen always reads -36 celsius or -37 fahrenheit. I am assuming that the problem is my external temperature sensor. I just received the part from Bavarian Auto Sport.

Where is the external temperature sensor located and how do I replace it? Will I need to lift the car? Any advice would be very appreciated.

I thought someone had told me one time it's in one of the wheel wells, but don't hold me to that.
