Thinking about upgrading suspension . . . need suggestions!

#1
I have a '92 325i that runs great and looks fantastic but the suspension is getting a little soft which is no suprise as the car is almost 13 years old with the original everything. Anyway, I love the way the AC Schnitzer springs look. From what I hear they have a very stiff ride, which is what im looking for. As far as shocks go I was thinking about going with Blistine sport shocks. Bavauto carries both these springs and shocks. My question is if these two will work together good and if I need to replace anything else. I have seen coilover kids at other places but I don't know what they are. Also AC Schnitzer sells a suspension package but its $1,500 which is more than double the ammount I plan to spend on springs and shocks.

Thanks!

so you're price range is less than $750?

If that's the case I'd steer clear of AC Schnitzer then..

your best bet is to go with Bilstein shocks and H&R springs or Bilstein shocks and Eibach springs.. whichever is more in your price range.... they're both good setups that people use.. I think a lot of people go Bilstein/Eibach or Koni/H&R....

another alternative is the H&R cup kit... matched springs and shocks for around $650... not many people go with that because it's got a like a 2.2" drop i think... and they feel it's a little too low without being able to adjust the ride height (aka. coilover kits.)

here's some guy with his 328i and the H&R cup kit.. i think it looks good.. but it doesn't look like a 2.2" drop.. maybe cause it's a 4 door?? [confused]

any of the springs will give you a stiffer ride...
