Upgrading from 325I to 325IS

Hi everyone,

I'm thinking about selling my 1993 325I and upgrading to a 1993 325IS. It's been a while since I've used this board, and I know this question is asked all the time, but I can't seem to locate the info I'm looking for, or the e36 FAQ section.

Anyways, here's my question...

What problems should I look for when looking at used e36s? I KNOW I've seen a checklist somewhere here on BMWBoard, but I just spent 30 mins. looking for it and can't find it. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Happy Holidays!

Thermostat
Radiator
Water Pump
Ensure there are no leaks around any of these. You might need to change the water pump to a metal one. Change the thermostat at the same time.

Check all windows....make sure they run up and down freely. I bought my e36 5 years ago and to this friggin day its still overheating...go figure. 4 radiators and 4 water pumps and thermostats later, same thing. I am sure there are guys here that can add to the list but those are the 3 major things I would look at.
