Carcus The Steering wheel on the e36 with air bag was not a very nice or comfortable wheel
and they wear very badly, what you can do to resore the color, buy a can of black leather spray.Spray the wheel two or three times let dry, then add some mink oil over the wheel, and that will frotect and make it soft.My friend did it to his car and it looks nice.
BY THE WAY, WHERE DID YOU GET THE WOOD AUTO SHIFTER,am looking for a USED one,if you know of any one let me know.

im saying that when the cover pops off, if the emblem is not COMPLETELY secure, it could definitely impale you - i dont think i'd worry about it cutting me, I'd worry about it going THROUGH me.
i was thinking the same thing.
it looks out of place, too bright, and just knowing that style wheel doesnt have one bugs me, imo

I got the shifter when I bought the car, think it came with the wood package.
