Hey guys/gals

I have an 93 325is

it has a little detonation issue, i have had the sensors replaced and tried different chips, (from Dinan back to stock to an AC Schnitzer chip) no change between them,
I was told it could be the sparkplugs, I may as well try..

should I go for a colder or hotter plug? is the bosch 2 prong good? is it hot or colder.. what about the 3 or 4 prong bosch...

Any help would be great, what plugs do you have?

Thanks All

with chipped M50's,

Bosch FO 3 DA R
or
Beru 14F-03 DAR

are the best decission at first. Check after 100km the plugs. If they're to white, just take the 02's (colder ones). 04 Plugs are much to hot to deal with chipped M50s

@polar you're right ;)

use OEM, I'm sorry I used the plat +4 and i really do not like them. My car (97 E36 M3) runs best on the OEM plug. A Bosch Super FGR8KQE, it has multiple ground electrodes like the plat +4. I like copper instead of plat. The car ran okay on the plats, but it ran much better on the other plug. Retail the Bosch FGR8KQE are 12.95 retail, I got them for 6.00.

Got to http://www.bimmerpartswholesale.com
Shipping is free for ground only.

I currently have the bosch plat 4 and it runs like crap, I am going to change them to the OEM they made my car run hotter. I wonder if that is why I over heated and blew a nice size hole in my radiator. So I guess there isn't any one out there that knows of a site that gives a step by step for replacing the radiator???
