Which Fuse??

Now I dont know if it's me being stupid, or the fact that BMW dont number the fuses in the fuse box, but which F***ing fuse is number 18?
Standing at the side of the car looking in to the fuse box,I have fuses running down the left side, then across the top with some relays in the middle then some more fuses along the bottom!!
Every diagram I have looked at for the E36 fuse box looks completly different to mine,even the one on pelican parts describing how to remove the fuel filter, looks different to mine. So can anybody help before I just rip in to it and get dowsed in fuel?
I have looked in the fuse box lid at the diagram but it doesn't help one bit.

It doesn't say the numbers on the fuse box cover?

Yeh it gives the numbers but doesn't tell you where they are. Eg Number 18 fuse, fuel pump. But no reference to where it is in the box.

I have solved the problem now, but if it wasn't for the E36 manual I posted before, I would of been stuck.

Just thought I would of been easier if BMW had marked alongside each fuse a number so that they would be easy to identfy , like most other car manufactors do.
