Will Bilsteins Touring shocks work with a Sport Suspension?

I just ordered the Touring class set from shox.com best pricing on the net. I am wanting to slightly lower my car and I have been trying to find a used sport suspension set of springs. Anyone with a S.S. ever used these shocks/struts? Also where do you all buy your wheels? My car came with 17" design 44 235/40r17 all season tires. Two of the wheels are bent so I am going to keep this set as winter tires. My car is a black 93 325is and I am looking for a set of black wheels with a polished lip. By the way great site. I have worked out several bugs from reading through the threads.

the touring are about 20-30% stiffer. i have them with eibach springs. most folks dont recommend the 2 together because the claim it will be too hard on the shocks. ive had them on there for about 1500 miles with no problems so far. you should be fine with just the sport suspension though

they dont have too many oem wheels iirc.

Thanks Vance for the reply. Makes me feel better about the shocks/ struts. I see you have a 328 did yours come with the Sport Suspension? Just curious if it had and if you were interested in getting rid of it. Also did you have to get a camber kit for the drop you have now?

no to both questions. i will be getting a camber adjustment kit for the rear. hopefully just after christmas

It would make more sense to go with the Bilstein Sports for a sport suspension. They are designed for a slight drop. The Touring and HDs are set up for stock ride height. Like dude said above, you can probably get away with it, but your damping won't be optimal.
