Window stuck down. Not functioning

All 4 Windows Just Not functioning. They all siezed. Help

Ok. came back and the turned the drivers side and rear windows up and the next thing, all stopped. The passenger side went half up and siezed. checked the fuse box and can't find any fuse for the windows. Is there anything i can do? Help

Reset the power window circuit breaker, its the button next to the steering column with the picture of a window with a lightning bolt.

I tried that aussie320 and nothing. It's still not working.
Know where the Window realy goes? I've heard many things.

Do you have voltage on either side of the circuit breaker? If not then it is time to replace it. If its OK then check the voltage at the switches, making sure there is voltage either side when a switch is depressed.

If switches are OK then the comfort relay may have blown.

I think aussie hit the nail on the head...

The same thing happened to our (piece of crap) pontiac montana, and the relay that controls the windows (like the auto-down function) went out.

Find out what kind of relay it is, and then buy it from an electronics supplier, not the dealer.

Its black, if you log on to www.bavauto.com you can get the part number, I don't know it offhand.

Got the window fixed. It was a stupid relay. it's actually called a "Closing Relay" or "Comfot Relay" And the color is baby blue.
