ok i have a bmw 325i with 205k miles... my window switches arent working how do i fix they work when they want.. please help.. thanks..

also the buttons wont light up and the lights on the radio wont light up either... when u press tyhe button on the driver side window u hear a clickin noise the window used to work but now it stoped ..

you might need a new window motor and also you should get some working swithces out of a parting out car that work and replace yours

Sure is. i only hear a Knockin noise from the rear end i have no clue what that is but it still spins the tires it makes a noise once in a while..

check the fluid in your diff. could need a changing. as far as your windows are concerned, look into getting new switches. buy them one by one to ensure you aren't wasting money on the wrong fix. One thing i have noticed is if you don't cycle the switches ever so often they tend to just go out.

do you have a power sunroof, if that works and the button is the same try swapping it with the window switch to make sure that is it, cheapest way. otherwise i have E30 switches that may work

go to auto zone and get some electronic cleaner it come in a spray can. I had the same problem this fixed my window the can cost like $2.50 please post back and tell us if it worked.

Okay people put it together. Electronic windows not working, lights in buttons not working, and radio not working. Hmm I wander what could cause all of this? Maybe... a fuse?
