328I (96) Radio activation code

Just swapped the old stock head unit out for a new stock unit. The display on the old one was burnt out and the radio would rarely work. So I have the new one in and was supposed to get the code from the ebay seller who sold it to me, but he did not include that in the shipment and I cannot reach him.

Anyone know how I might be able to get the code?

That of course, but to get the code, you might have to come down to the dealer, let them figure it all out. It might cost you a heafty amount but in this case it might be the only way since its not the factory unit (meaning the one that came in your specific car).

AIDEN I HAD THE SAME PROBLEM THE DEALER CAN HELP YOU. MY RADIO WOULD NOT ACCEPT THE RADIO CODE. THEY OPEN THE RADIO TO GET THE RADIO CODE. ONLY TO FIND OUT MY UNIT WAS BAD, THE DEALER CAN ALSO USE THE VEHICLE VIN NUMBER TO GET THE RADIO CODE. E-MAIL THE INDIVIDUAL AND ASK FOR THE VIN NUMBER IF HE DOES NOT HAVE THE RADIO CODE.
