Good luck! I've posted here, and Bimmerquest several times to no avail.
I hate to bring it to Dealer to fix for a $75.00 bill to reset it -I just don't see it anymore! It's like looking at that stupid tire scuff-after awhile your eye just doesn't see it anymore. But you and I know it's there!!!!!
Good luck! Let me know how you make out!

Temperature sensor

Your computer is Ok. Your Ambient Temperature Sensor is bad. It is located under the front bumper on the drivers side. Its about $35 and it is a plug in play instalation.

You can do it yourself.[thumb]

I think my fell out cuz i can see 2 cables hanging down, can anyone snap a picture for me? or tell me which colors should the cables be? Last owner ran into something and i just found out that the bumper has cracks and stuff, sensor missing and 2 cables hanging down. I would really appreciate the pictures so that i have some idea how the front should look like and what im missing.

Sensor

Yeah I remember when I bouhgt mine. I was driving all the time. I dont have any picture and I can't make one cuz my car was in the accident on the driver side front corner.

It should go behinf the fog light. If you have just cable than you need to get the harness.

My mechanic is the best :> i got the temp sensor(+harness), the 2 pipes that target the air onto the rotors and a splash guard for $20. Someone who owned this car had to hit something cuz the splash guard was cracked, those 2 pipes missing. The sensor goes in the pipe( dont know the real name for em ) so it came of with it, anyway i got it fixed. sweet, no -35 temperatures ;>
