Ok, just got my 325is. 26 hours after i got it, time slipped or something and messed up the valves. dont know what the heck happend. no compression in 3 of 6 cylinders. so im gonna drop in a different motor. i want to get a 328 motor. But i was wondering if my transmission will just bolt up to a 328i motor? and will i need to get a new comp if i do so. id love to get an M3 motor but it cost way too much for me right now. if the tranny will just bolt up and i dont need another comp. im gonna go with a 328. and would anyone happen to know what the normal compression is on a regular M50 engine? ive seen some as high as 200-225 psi. just wondering what the normal is. PLEASE HELP! i need to get the motor ASAP!
