A Scratchy Situation - two discs...one drive

Hey all,

My Dad mistakingly took out the navigation DVD from his e60 530 and in going to replace it, put it in the CD player... with a CD in it... I don't know what to do apart from pressing the eject button and listening to both discs scratching the crap out of each other. Any help would be appreciated!!

I had a disc get stuck in a Saab in-dash CD player once, and finally got it out by sliding a piece of duct tape into the slot and carefully pressing it down onto the CD. I pressed "Eject" and pulled steadily on the tape at the same time, and the disc popped out. The usual disclaimers apply... ;-)

try to take it to dealer or take the cover off and remove it
that way...

lol too funny, I think he does as well!

thanks for the tips, i'll try the duct tape one tomorrow, it is going in on Friday for the power windows... sometimes the left rear passenger window decides to go down when the driver window is pressed, and there is also something about the something or other... great info I know lol. If the tape fails it will definitely be brought up with the dealer, and so anyway thank you guys for your replies, really appreciate it!! Will let you know how the tape thing works!

Hi, attempted the duct tape method, it did begin to work, but alas, didnt quite come out. Thanks for the idea anyway, really appreciate it, car is at the dealer's now getting all fixed, and in the mean time I get to drive the courtesy car muhahahahaha =P
