About to Take Battery 0ut for charging. Anything i need to know first?

Guys, battery is down. AutoZone told me that they can recharge it but have to take it outa the car first. Anything i need to know first?

whoa there
make sure u have your radio code...cuz everything will be
reset.
also take the neg off first, then the pos, put the pos on, then the neg
figure out why your battery was discharged. is the alternator bad?
is the battey not holding its charge?

I don't have the factory radio anymore.

make sure you are aware of the stage of the inspsection/ oil change lights. Sometimes when the battery is disconected the inspestion/ oil lights will auto. go all the way back to full green. But other than that I can't think of anything else. Well you will obviously have to reset everything liek your presets w/ your headunit, and the obc, but other than that nothing to really worry about.
