AC issues on a 1994 bmw 525i

Hi. I am new here, been reading up your posts for a few days and learned a lot.
Now I have a problem with my AC. The freon lasts for 3-4 weeks at most, i had dye put in but they dont see any leaks. while recharging the freon, on the 3rd can the compressor just stops but when you turn the a/c on compressor works but no cool air. Before this happened, aircon was really cool. Any advice on this?
On another thing... to those with e4 525i, what do you do for drink holders? There aren't any on this car.

Too much freon = breaking your compressor. The sytems in bmw's are very very strict about having the right amount of r134 in.

Where are you taking the car? I'd suggest taking it somewhere that knows what they are talking about.

I don't drink in my car, if i do I just make sure it's a can (fits in the little sunglasses tray thing behind the emergency brake) or a bottle - then it can go wherever.
