my father owned 2 of them in the 90's. One was a 1985 6 series B7 Turbo and the other was a 1982 3 series. The B7 was the coolest car I have ever been in. I remember it had a boost knob in it that turbo boost on it. YOu could turn it down or up depending on how fast you would want to go. My father took the knob off and backed off a screw that limited how far you could turn it down, and proceeded to get another quarter turn out of the knob. Anyhow, the car was great looking with a dark grey metallic paint with and alpina decal down the side. Wish he still had it, but he sold it to some guy for like 15k in 1997 and i guess that person totalled it. oh well
