Okay I love my 1995 325 BMW, I love driving 85 mph on a sunny day with the top down with my stereo cranked, so you can guess how much I hate it when my 6-disc changer just stops working. This is my third cd player ( I belive this one is a Pioneer).. so you can see why I want to ty and fix the problem rather than fork big $$ over for another stupid changer.
So the problem - it seems that the cd grabber will grab the cd, will spin, then stop, then spin, then stops completely. (You can hear it spinning but no music is coming out) So my question is do you think it at all fixable if I took it apart? Any help would be so very appreciated!!! [?|]

Some players don't read burned CD's. So try a normal CD if that is the case. But it sounds more than likely that the lens is dirty. On mine I tried one of those CD cleaners to no avail. So I cracked it open and wiped the laser lens with a non fiberous, soft cloth and it has worked beautifully ever since. Proceed with caution when doing this tho. You can easily break beyond repair.. (But it really isn't that difficult, just be gentle)
