Bord computer

Please anybody knows how to change the language of the bord computer from German to English?
Also I am having a problem with the check that is checking nothing, when I press the button the entire screen lights ( all the sqares in it ) and then the bord computer goes off. even if a bulb is broken or coolant water is low or... nothing is displayed.

press both 10 and 1000 and just wait then it will say test: or input if it says test then your language code is 19 if input then its either 4 or 6 you change around the codes with 1 and 10 set the test number and s/r to change the value.

Thank you Tom I could change to English with test 10 as far as I remember , there is a test # for reset that I made but still the check is not working.
also there is a # that I forgot where it writes "test off" and I could not change to on do you think it has a relation to the check?

I would take the OBC out( disconnect the battery from it ) or from the whole car ( if you have the radio code and/or dont feel like taking just the obc out.. ) that should reset it, then see if the check works... if not i think its busted.

in test 19 ,"lock on" is written and i can not change it to off, any idea?
I disconnected the battery but syill check is not working.
