brake pads" indicator lights

i have change my brake pads and cut the wire for the indicator light .. because i did not want to replace the sencer .. but my light always stay on ..

do i have to plug them togheter and reset something or the last solution remove the light bulb in the cluster !:)

It must be a complete circuit for it to stay off. Just strip the 2 wires and splice them together. The way it works -- is when it touches the metal of the caliper once the pad gets worn down, it interrupts the circuit, causing the light to come on.

What year is your car? If it's an e36 or newer, there might be something I don't know about that you have to reset.

He's not crazy cause he's canadian. com'on, may be he didn't have any more money to buy the sesnor, give'm a break

.. i prefere the old way inspection . and there is just 2 sencer for the 4 wheels .. and brake pad dont use equal on booth side .. so you can scratch your rotor if you wait the sencer to tell you to change your brake pads.
i prefere remove my wheel and check whit my eyes ,,i am like Thomas i have to see to beleive ..:) i dont put my trust in those kind of sencer..
