Guys....2 issues on my 93 E36 325is

- I have 2 new Zimmerman cross drilled rotors and factory break pads in the front...

ever since I installed this combination the car "skreeches" from the front when I
break....what can be causing this?

- Also I installed a cone air intake and connected the thermo switch to the 2 tubes one of which has coolant.........right after I get a computer reading that my coolant level is low everytime I shut my car off......maybe the tubes are reversed? or bad coolant level switch?

my coolant sensor is picky as well, just check your resivour and make sure its up to snuff. i have zimmermann cross drilleds as well. one thing you will notice right away is a more rough feeling when you brake. but there should be no squeek. if your pads are good to go then maybe there is just build up on your rotors and pads. if that is the case get going and apply very FIRM brake pressure, and then do it again. i'm talking like 70mph-30mph and by firm i mean just shy of anti lock. that'll get 'em clean. but you may want to check to make sure your pads aren't dead.

To add to frolf's stuff...

How old are your pads? After about 500 miles you should Bed the pads. Going from 60mph to zero quickly (shy of anti-lock). Do this 2 or 3 times, then your pads should be good to go.

I've tried that with no luck....funny thing is this started happening with new pad and rotors in the front......the mechanic tried to quiet them down but it came back.....
