the color for the calipers that im looking for is like the M3 "silver gray metallic" exterior color but a little bit lighter kind of like a light gunmetal gray. so if anyone can help me please let me know. thanks again.

secret is clean the calipers the best way you can without using really strong chemicals (i used a toothbrush,regular car wash soap&wheel cleaner)
you can try and use primer ( but i didnt ) and just spray several light coats until it covers evenly let dry and your done.
every once in a while your gonna have to touch it up but the key is to just spray light coats when your painting and dont rush.
the only way it will crack or chip is if you spray thick coats on.

Go to local auto shop (pep boys, kragen, etc.) purchase Adhesion promoter, sand paper, can of silver paint - high heat/engine paint (higher heat the better, they come in 500 degrees adn 1200 degrees)., and a can of clear coat

Here's what I did:
Tape off hub
Clean calipers
Then spray calipers with oven degreaser, scrub off with a tire brush
make em clean
let dry
apply 2 layers of adhesion promoter (letting time between each layer to dry) it dries quickly
then apply a layer of paint. light, doesnt need ot cover everything
let dry
another layer
dry
layer
dry
so on for about 7 layers
then
apply a layer of clear coat
dry
clear coat
dry for a few hours
Use nail polish remover to remove any paint that may have gotten on other parts of the rotor other than the face of the rotor
