i have an eaton 62 kit from Downing/Atlanta on my stock M44 engine. installed 30k ago at 75k, it has around 105k on it now with no issues. it was supposed to make 7psi but with a Shawn Fogg upgrade it makes almost 10psi. it really depends on the condition of your engine. an engine that has been abused by running low on oil and such will be closer to the Castrol redline than one that hasn't, but an engine in good condition can handle 10psi so far so good! XXX(fingers crossed) what kind of squeezer are you thinking about?

im making a hybrid im taking the g60 out of a vw corrado and sending it to compressor canada should be nice think the compression is to high to run 10? im going to rebuild the top end anyway i just hope the bottom will hold up its in good shape but im not exactly easy on my cars so far this will be my best autocross car yet handles perfect

i'm not familiar with the G60, or your 94 engine, i think its a little different than my 96? my stock compression ratio is 10:1 IIRC. i think mine's the first year of OBDII, so yours is OBDI? i don't even know what difference that makes. i'm running a water/alcohol vapor injection system from www.coolingmist.com , it helps keep the computer from retarding the timing by reducing knock. i started mixing 2 gallons of E85 fuel to a full tank too. i have tried mixing 10% toluene for octane booster too, it makes a big difference but it's not cheap. about the same or more as paying for the 100 octane from the pump.

I believe M42's can handle boost a bit easier than M44's. Stay under 7 psi and you should be just fine without any internals done. Of course this coming froma 6 cylinder person.

I wouldnt expect too much as far as numbers our of the old 4 banger bimmer.

no , the numbers won't knock you over but the power increase is more than noticeable. i figure mine now makes about the same power as the 3 liter that i couldn't afford to finance at the time. what do you fill your tank with Eric?

do you get the new E85 fuel out there? it's 85% alky and 15% gas. i'd like to convert to running it exclusively but the software tuner i contacted about a program just replied that his product wouldn't be compatible. the way i figure all i'd need is to increase the injector #per hour but who knows if OBDII would read the mixture right? do you use blue water in your aquatec?

You would probably really need to bust out a lot of that E85 mix. I believe the chamber combustion is more based on the hexane levels aswell (100% - octane) and software wouldnt even begin to deal with it. If you wanted to do somethign like that my only thought is you find a really good local tuner and you go with a stand alone engine management system like tec3r or haltech c6x. They can get pretty pricey but you could really benefit fromt he proper tuning.
