CAN you re-upholster the E36 steering wheel???

what up cool kats....

I saw this fresh BMW the other day and I thought...wow what if???

As I am about to re-upholster the interior of my 328ic (2 tone)
I was was hoping if someone out there knew the answer to this Q...

can you re-upholster the STOCK steering wheel with other color leather
or buy a new one to fit the stock???

I have never put new leather on a BMW steering wheel, but I know it can be done. I think the hard part would be finding the leather that will fit the wheel, especially two-tone. I recovered the wheel on my Porsche 944 and it was a pain in the ass.

oh, I know it's a pain...that's why I plan on payments to make it easy...

please fo-give me if I corned-fused you cats...the wheel will be only
one color...the seats are 2 tone..

besides bringing it to an upholstry shop, www.wheelskins.com makes some do it urself leather jammies that are pretty cool.IF you want to go that route.

Who is doing the re upholstering, usualy they could do it for cheep. Otherwise call up an upholstery shop to get a quote.
