Centre Armrest retrofit

Has anyone fietted a centre armrest to an e36 coupe before. I'm changing my 318iSE for a 328iS Coupe and i've grown used to this armrest and want to fit one to the new car. Any help appreciated

Should fit on it, if you are trading it in, take it before the trade. You have nothing to lose.

I can't help you-sorry , but if anyone knows how to get the cup holder assembly from the e46 to fit in an e36 I'd be grateful! My Brother's has side spring grips to accomodate any size-mine is VERY limited!!!!!

Yeah, completely interchangable. Gotta swap the entire center console however. There's holes in the car without the armrest that you can bolt it down to. Takes some time and patience, 3 bolts hold assembly down (rear one is impossible to get at).

thanks for the help i removed the armrest and console last night and fitted a standard centre console i bought at a dismantlers for €25. Took small bitta patience alright, but BMW quoted me €360 for an armrest and console for my new car (fug that) so i'm happy with my little swap. Thanks again
