Change X5 2003 headlights to 2004...?

Hi everyone,

This is the first time I write in this great forum and I hope its not the last.
I've been a BMW driver for 3 years. I started with a 525 2002 and just recently got a 2003 (almost fully loaded) 3.0i X5. Its a great car.

Just a quick question to all the experts:

Is it possible to replace the headlights on the 2003 X5 with the new ones on the 2004...?

I don't think so - new headlights fit into the overall new front design of the X5.

Question: why did you go for the 3.0 and not 4.4i ? Is there not a difference in the power ?

Thanks for the reply asad... pretty dissapointing but thanks anyways...

Answer: The only reason would be the price. A difference of 15,000 USD made me go for the smaller engine but gave me the luxury of almost fully loading the car with options.

you can change the headlight, but you would also have to change the fenders and hood with the grill , lol so tht would be pricy !!
