I recently bought a 97 328 convertible and have been really enjoying it so far.
The Check Engine light came on yesterday. No discernible problems, the car seems to be running like normal and I checked the gas cap to make sure it was on tightly.
I read on the forums here that you could take it to Autozone to have the hook up the OBD II and get the error code for free. When they did, they got a Link Error on the OBD II.
Has anyone had this happen before? I am wondering if the guy at Autozone didn't hook it up right to the terminal under the drivers side dash.
Any help/advice is appreciated!
thanks,
Josh
