Hey guys, obviously I'm new to the board. I have had a look around and I think I like this place a lot. I've had a look around and you guys seam to know what you are talking about and are happy to help out!

On that note I was wondering if anyone had any advice about a problem I was having. I haven't done anything really with the car yet because it was still under warranty from the place I bought it but that is expired and I would love to do a few things myself to save money and for the satisfaction!

I was having problems with the climate control where it was turning on and off randomly then would stay off for a while. All the lights would light up once in a while too. The shop said I needed a new climate control unit and would do it for like $750 cnd. I think I can get the part new for like 400! I want to do it the work myself!

Anybody have any suggestions?

Thanks man that is awsome!

I was wondering one more thing. They said it might be one of the buttons sticking... sometimes when it goes off and just some of the lights stay on I hit it on the side and it comes on. Not all the time but it does work once in a while. That might sound like it could be a button right?

I so don't want to buy the whole part if I don't have to!!

alternatively if your into electronics and only planning on spending a few coins there is a common problem with the smoothing cap on the power board, if it is replaced it does fix the problem, mine has been working for a good 6 months now and i did that very fix.

get in touch, of by hotmail as i have a very detailed instruction with pictures, and i do actually have some caps knocking around.
