Clutch Kits

My clutch is not dead yet but it will be before too long. Im going to replace it myself this time to save some $. I saw a clutch kit from bav for $400.- Any advice as to what I should use or tips for the replacement is appreciated.

$400 is pretty pricey, depending on what all it contains. Just check out www.bavauto.com www.pelicanparts.com www.turnermotorsports.com and then when you find the best price on what you'd like to purchase. Then, call up the guy at www.fcpgroton.com and see what he can do for you.

For the parts, personally, I'd use Sachs components. Also, now might be the time to look into a lightweight flywheel.
