How many out there have the either the Dinan chip or the Conforti Shark Injector? I have a 1997 328i and just wanted to compare the major differences about their characteristics. Some say the Dinan is a bit better but is there any proof on where it shines.
BTW-who sells the Conforti the cheapest?
thanx

I have used both in my e30 318is and prefer the Conforti there. My 98 M roadster has Dinan, however I have never tried anything else there. I have a good friend with an M5 and he said he cannot tell the difference in the Dinan he used and stock.

Shark Injector code swapp???

Has anyone had experience with the Conforti Shark Injector error code when trying to use it on a diffrent car other than the original??? from what I heard the Injector gives an error code ; I also heard the code from the original car can be wiped out by Conforti so it can be reused; Can anyone give me a number or e-mail address to contact Conforti directly???
Will greatelly appreciate it.

Dinan is actually suppose to create more gains (like 2hp and 2lb-ft torque) But I have never seen this evidence. I have used the shark injector on my M3. Since I put some bolt-on mods I sent the ECU to AA tuning for custom software. The car was faster with the new software. I first drove the car after bolting the mods on with the Jim C generic software (no custom tuned). I cleared the adaptions and let the ecu relearn for about a week. Then I sent the ecu to AA Tuning where the ECU was customed tuned for the modifications. I would choose ethier Jim c or AA tuning. Yes Dinan is awesome, but their prices are not.

SHARK IT!!!! I put a chip in my 95' 318I and Sharked my 98' 323 convert and both had outstanding gains in both HP and Torque but best of all is the lack of the limiter.
