from their main page...
"Welcome to AAA Rims! We are an online distributor of quality refinished OEM (factory original) aluminum alloy and chrome wheels (i.e. rims )."

under the contour wheel specs they have this...

"Imported from Italy "

are oem wheels made in italy? then imported?...on the next Twilight Zone.

I have a choice of OEMs VS AT Italia, whats the weght difference, any fitment problems? The AT Italia`s are shadow chromed and they are ~150$ cheaper.. I`m probably gonna go for the OEMs... Just cuz they are BMWs ;> How much is shadow chrome anyway?

Thanks

Got my rims today, contours OEM Staggered setup Id like to put 225/45/17 in the front and 245/40/17 in the back, anyone tried that setup? My car is lowered which makes me wonder if the tires are gonna rub or not.

i have OEM staggered with mine but chose to run 235/45 instead of the stock 245/40 in the rears simply because I wanted less understeeer. I'm lowered about 1.2" in the rear and there is no rubbing, only rubs if i hit a big bump and I have 3 ppl in back.

I have the staggered setup also - 17x7.5 and 17x8.5

I ran the OEM setup of 225 in front and 245 in rears when I had my old set. But I wasnt lowered so I had no problems back then. I'm sure I can fit 245, theres a lil more room before the wheel touches fender.

Heres mine, 1992 325i blk/blk with 168k miles! Still runs beautifully, i tracked it in November and it kicked ass!
