defroster not working

I just used my front defrosters for the first time. the passenger side was all clear in 5 seconds. the driver's side took over a minute. before I go running to the dealer has anyone encountered this or know what I should do?

The windshield defroster should clear the entire windshield very quickly. Perhaps there was more condensation on the driver's side of the windshield?

Nah, it was the same all over. the air was coming out more on the passenger's side.
