Recently encountering a problem with the windshield washer fluid on our BMW X1. Low fluid light comes on the dash, and I fill the tank (takes a full gallon and seems to want more). The warning message goes off and four or five days later the warning light comes back on. Have gone thru 3 gallons of fluid in about 5-6 weeks. Warning message goes off right after each fill, but re-appears shortly thereafter. BMW helpline initially thought it was the sensor, but I cannot figure out where all the fluid is going - there are no puddles on the ground anywhere we park the vehicle. Could it be leaking inside some part of the engine ? Vehicle runs perfectly fine; does not overheat. Perplexing !!! Anyone else having this issue ?
